College Rep Visits
University Reps will visit students at Hendrickson College Career (CCC) during Talon. Students, check in with your Talon teacher and come to CCC to sign in.

Seniors must complete one college application and the FAFSA ( application opens December 2025). FAFSA website

​Previous graduates - How to request a Transcript?
If you need an official transcript sent to a college- Use Schoolinks. Make sure your application must be completed and under College->College Applications- This will prompt school to send it! If you need to download an Unofficial Copy- Use Schoolinks. Go to School-> Record Request-> Download Unofficial This will give you a PDF copy.

Upcoming Testing
The TSI Exam is a placement exam required by all Texas public colleges.
In-person exams held in Hendrickson HS computer Labs about twice a month. Students can sign up in the Hendrickson College Career (CCC). *Students can exempt the TSI by scoring an SAT score of a 480 in English and a 530 in Math* Sign up outside the CCC!

Scholarship season typically begins in the Spring Semester for our Local Opportunities or the major opportunities for students entering a Trade School.

ACC Free Tuition for 2024 to 2028 Graduates = Free Tuition Pilot Program https://sites.austincc.edu/free-tuition/ Graduates get three (3) full years of free college tuition at Austin Community College. 5 years for an ACC Bachelors. No GPA requirements. No income restrictions. ​

In order to demonstrate college readiness, students are required by college and universities to take assessments that demonstrate mastery in Reading, Writing and Math. Colleges ask that Students take the TSI ( Texas Success Initiative ), Compass, Accuplacer or like exam to demonstrate these skills. ACC requires the TSI unless exempt. https://admissions.austincc.edu/tsi-assessment/
Most students will be required to complete the TSI exam prior to registration in college courses at any Texas 2-year or 4-year school. Some exemptions exist.
